To create an employee handbook that will be shared internally with current staff and new members. The handbook should epitomise and capture the essence of Bold as a brand. We need help identifying our core values, mission, vision, philosophy, how to depict the expectations of Bold as an employer and our respective employees. We need help establishing our tone of voice and creating a Bold’s ABC dictionary.
I create a first draft of Bold’s Employee Handbook, and developed a brand tone of voice, do’s and dont’s, rules to play by, future aspirations, what Bold means to the individual employee and detailed information about each of Bold’s properties across Germany. I channelled my creativity to bring a basic (usually dull) employee handbook to burst with life and inspiration, and to do this I designed interactive sections for the employees to complete, such as reflective space, or marking personal and professional goals, proudest moments or noting skills they’d like to develop. I also developed the entire Bold ABC dictionary which involved writing definitions for Bold’s verbal DNA and words they’d like to associate with their brand.
