Brief
I was responsible for creating editorial features for a portfolio of ultra-luxury resorts across the Middle East and Asia, many of which were secured through the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai. Each property required a distinct editorial approach that reflected its brand identity and values. I collaborated directly with hoteliers and marketing teams, building trust and gathering key messaging points to accurately convey their story. My role involved both writing and editorial direction — from shaping the narrative and highlighting unique experiences to planning visual structure and layout for print.
Solution
To give readers a strong sense of place, I developed a consistent structure that opened each section with a destination guide — offering curated insights into the culture, landscape and spirit of the region. This provided editorial context before introducing each resort. I wrote original long-form copy for every hotel, capturing the essence of its design, guest experience and location. I also led the visual design of each spread in InDesign, ensuring that image placement, typography and pacing reflected the tone and sophistication of each brand.
