Brief
To completely transform the existing Honeymoons Bookazine into a more modern, inclusive and commercially viable travel publication.

The previous edition was heavily focused on newlyweds, which limited its audience and relevance. The brief was to reposition the title so it would appeal to couples at any stage of their relationship, while also improving the overall editorial quality, structure and visual identity.

At the same time, the publication needed to evolve beyond print. The goal was to introduce digital elements such as video and social content, creating a more connected, multi-platform experience that reflected how people now engage with travel content.

Solution
I led the full rebrand and editorial transformation of the publication, introducing Romantic Travellers as a more inclusive, experience-led concept.

The first step was redefining the identity. I changed the title and visual direction, shifting the focus from people to destinations, creating a more aspirational and universally relatable feel. Working closely with the Creative Director, we introduced a clean, black-and-white design style that elevated the publication into something closer to a luxury coffee-table book.

Editorially, I restructured the magazine into clear sections including Inspiration, Fashion, Beauty, Romantic Destinations and Country Guides, creating a more natural flow and a better reading experience. This can be seen in the contents pages, where the structure feels considered and easy to navigate .

To strengthen the editorial value, I profiled 50 destinations worldwide, dedicating six pages to each. I personally wrote, researched and edited the majority of the content, ensuring consistency in tone and quality across the entire publication.

To extend the experience beyond print, I introduced a fully integrated digital layer. Each destination was supported by an Instagram Reel, and QR codes were placed throughout the magazine, allowing readers to move seamlessly from page to video or online content. All features were also hosted on the Weddings & Honeymoons website, giving each destination ongoing global visibility.

The result was a publication that combined strong editorial storytelling with digital integration, creating a more immersive and accessible experience. It repositioned the magazine from a niche product into a broader, more commercially viable travel title, while maintaining a clear and consistent editorial identity.
