BRIEF

Create a video for YouTube, under five minutes, that is relatable and enticing for prospective bachelors and masters students. The video should highlight Hult’s ultra-personal and dedicated enrollment team that supports students all the way from application, through to graduation.

SOLUTION

I scripted and storyboarded the narrative of a student that is initially confused about which university is the right one for her. The video plays up the strengths of Hult’s Enrollment department 1-2-1 service and showcases how the student is continually supported through her application process.

  • Firstly, I brainstormed with other writers and the Design Team to come up with a compelling narrative. As the lead copywriter on this project, I decided on a final narrative and began storyboarding the idea with my Design Team member.
  • I put together the first draft of the script and sent it to the Product Managers to check it hit the brief and the commercial goals they wanted to achieve.
  • After making edits, the script was sent to casting agencies to find actors and then I went to London for the live shoot to ensure the words were delivered in the correct tone and style.
  • After we received the final video, the Social Team posted it on YouTube and I created the rollout assets to increase exposure of the video via email campaigns, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram stories and posts.
